2 Yongzheng famille rose deep plates.
Presented are two superb Chinese porcelain round deep plates. On the shelf, both are hand-painted in a famille rose pattern with a gilded flower basket from which lotus plants and chrysanthemums sprout. Beautiful pink color with opaque white transitions. Part of the elevation is painted all around with chrysanthemums, which are surrounded by lotus buds painted in brown honeycomb. Spread green leaves with shades of color. Also overglaze blue curls with nuance difference. Both plates are analogous but not completely identical, typical for Chinese duo objects. The back is glazed light blue and shows a beautiful white unglazed base ring. The plates are not marked. They date from the Yongzhen imperial period ca. 1735.
Condition: some glaze loss here and there, otherwise almost perfect
