Mandolin, mouth and eyes in orange red; headscarf and base painted black. On the collar we see small holes, three at the front and three at the back. The separate high pillow has an orange-red inner edge on which the pierrot figure fits. Top in yellow enamel with flowers with purple outlines and black leaves and twigs, hand painted. There is always a hole at the four corners. White-black cord at transition to lower part painted orange-red. Flat square base ring at the bottom and white glazed base. The latter is overglazed marked in black with handwritten “ALADIN Made in France” and with “D.65.” and with a small black rectangle. The pierrot figure is also marked in black with “ALADIN” and “Made in France”. Can be used as a brûle perfume. Dating, art deco period, ca.1930.
Condition is almost perfect. Only some signs of wear on the orange-red inner edge of the pillow, which the base of the pierrot figure is rubbing against. Feedback sturen Geschiedenis Opgeslagen Community
