Meer informatie

Shown is a beautiful Chinese porcelain bowl with milky white glaze on a round raised straight base. The exterior is divided into six panels with black outlines. These panels are polychrome enameled in a famille verte palette with, among other things, mythological animals (qilin, lion, fengua) and birds such as ducks, peacocks, sparrows and also flowering branches. The base of the inside is decorated with a manganese-colored flowering branch with iron-red leaves. The top edge shows a wide frieze of flowering branches and lotus plants in iron red, light green and manganese enamel. The bowl is not marked like many Kangxi objects. The foot rim has a typical Kangxi wide unglazed white base. Furthermore, the base is partially glazed. It dates from the Qing dynasty, Kangxi Imperial period, ca. 1690.

Condition: perfect.
