Meer informatie

Shown is a very beautiful ovoid vase with a slender narrowing neck with a circular rounded opening. An opaque cream-colored marbled background has been applied to clear colorless glass with purple and yellow-green powder inclusions and brown-gold imposed spots. Green-blue glass threads with metal oxides are laid on the glowing glass, which are combed and drawn vertically and horizontally from the neck and which are beautifully iridescent. Several “dimples” can be seen in this, whether intentionally or not. Purple yellow color powders have been applied to the neck. At the bottom we see a broken pontille. The vase was made during the Art Nouveau period, in Bohemia, possibly by the Kralick or Rindskopf factory. Anyway the better bohemian glassware.

Condition: apart from the “dimples” (baking error or intentional), perfect condition.
