The object shown is a very nice cameo glass round deep four-lobed bowl made by the firm Daum Frères Nancy in the Art Nouveau period around 1904-10. Polychrome acid-etched powder layers have been applied to colorless clear glass, including grey, orange and yellow. Enamel decorated with beautiful hand-painted floral decor with dark brown stems, light brown and green leaves and drooping red fruits that are arranged around the bowl. Flat base with nicely round polished pontille. Signed in the center of the wall with Daum Nancy and the Cross of Lorraine in cameo. To be dated around 1910.
