Meer informatie

Lobed large round plate in faience de l’Est, France, with polychrome decor in predominantly brown-red and green of a knotted bouquet of carnations. Overglaze hand-painted on a white-cream coating. Some signs of use, especially on the shelf. Due to the lobed aspect of the border, we see 8 radial relief elevations  on the border, which is thereby divided into lobes. The lip is colored dark brown. Tin glaze on the back, without foot, the base is formed by the elevation. Four tracks of must. The plate dates from the end of the 19th century and was probably made by the Saint-Omer manufacturer. Old iron suspension system. around the board.

Condition: some signs of use, some dots in the glaze, but otherwise in good condition.
