This is a model of a hexagonal ashtray that is not listed in Félix Marcilhac’s “Catalogue Raisonné de l’oeuvre de nationale R. Lalique” by Félix Marcilhac, but bears a resemblance to the octagonal ashtray known as “Fauvettes” from 1924. offered model, there are only six corners that are not filled but open, and it concerns a pure clear glass that is pressed into the moule. The outer edge is decorated with a band of diamonds in low relief. Thick base in clear glass. Marked diamond engraved with “R.LALIQUE France”.

Condition: scratches from use on the bottom as well as a dull stain on one of the corners. No cracks or pieces of it.
