On display is a beautiful round bonbonnière with lid and handle, made by the glass factory of René Lalique in Wingen-Sur-Moder in France in the full Art Deco period. She has the name “Primevères”. The bonbonnière is round, made of clear glass that has been pressed in the mold and has a satin blue finish. A frieze of beautiful blooming primroses in blue patinated color has been imposed around it in relief. This includes a round flat matt satin lid with a matching domed opalescent blue patinated handle centered on the top of the lid. At the bottom of the box we see in a curved rectangle the “R.LALIQUE FRANCE” signed in the moulle in relief. The bonbonnière dates from ca. 1927.
