Presented is a small spherical vase with a narrow round opening in stoneware (grès). It was designed by Condé and made by the Mougin brothers of Nancy France. Condé worked for the Mougin brothers around 1923. Geometric diamond and triangular notches have been made on a greyish-blue background, which are filled with a dark blue enamel. The vase stands on a low round base. At the bottom the vase is impressively signed with “Mougin Nancy”, “Condé dc” and “278.J”. A number “6893” is also applied in black hand-painted. Art Deco period, ca.1925.
