Meer informatie

Shown is a clear blown and cut crystal shaker with six analogous matching glasses, made by the glass manufacturer Val Saint Lambert during the Art Deco period. Both the shaker and the slides have a black colored raised base. The shaker has a twelve-part flat raised base from which many narrow panels flare outwards to form a horizontal plane in the upper quarter of the corpus that tapers slightly inwards. This is followed by a very tapered shoulder followed by a vertical neck, ending in a round rim with twelve facets. The stopper of the shaker is in black colored crystal. It has a longish cylindrical neck which spreads out into eight concave curved panels and ends in a round rim with eight facets and rises like a pyramid to meet in a central point. The glasses have an octagonal black flat raised foot from which eight centrally cut spreading panels with a central indentation start halfway through and pass into clear light conically tapering cylindrical crystal with a round edge. The various elements are not marked. Shaker and stop are both engraved with the number “10”. This set is known as “Montmartre” and dates from 1933.

Condition: perfect.
