Very nice art deco shaker, called “Zeppelin Bomber” from around 1930. This shaker consists of many compartments: the body, a screw-on rounded head, a round perforated press, a round lid, a closed cup with screw button, a screw-on base with four tail-shaped supports, four drinking cups from larger to smaller size, and a stirrer that retracts at the body and is removable. It concerns light silver-plated metal “42” in which all objects are gilded on the inside, so-called vermeille. Each part is embossed with “GERMANY”. At the base one of the tails is marked with “two males” and “J.A. HENCKELS ”and“ TWIN WORKS.SOLINGEN ”and“ GERMANY ”. The shaker is marked “GERMANY 42 O.R.G.M.” The press is marked with “… M”, “894384” and “MADE IN GERMANY”. It is a very beautiful decorative object, actually a sculpture, which is also intriguingly composed.

Condition : some normal wear because of age..
