Meer informatie

We show a beautiful Chinese porcelain miniature gourd vase. A baluster-shaped corpus rises from a flat base, narrowing in its upper part to form a small baluster-shaped widening that turns into a concentric neck with a slightly spreading lip. An asymmetrical palpable polychrome rock and floral decor is hand-painted over glaze on a milky white background. Beautiful enamel colors used are: cobalt blue, various shades of green, emerald red, purple and yellow. Starting from under a cobalt blue large perforated rock, we see, among other things, lotus plants, peonies and a daisy, connected to green and purple stems topped with green leaves (in various shades). At the bottom, a non-glazed flat foot ring is visible all around with an oval deepening glazed center in the center. This vase dates from the Qing dynasty, Yonghzeng imperial period, ca. 1730.

Condition: perfect.
