We present a beautiful woodblock print or Ukyio-e, a re-carved edition of an Edo original, made by Masayoshi Kitao (1764-1824). This woodblock print is titled “Hanaogi” and shows a polychrome decor of a lady-in-waiting bringing a gift and flowers together with two servants. This print comes in the original folder as issued by the publisher, mounted in an embossed panel with a tissue paper overlay. Signed in the bottom right. Framed behind glass. Possibly made around 1900-1920.

Condition: Some discolouration of the frame with brown spots, otherwise very good condition.
