On an irregular round raised white base with gilt delineation stands a young man with two wings (= putto) with a short straitjacket and purple overcoat. The head is slightly turned to the left and with light gray wig and large black bow at the back. In both hands he holds a black tricorn. At the bottom the figurine is marked in underglaze cobalt blue with the crossed swords and stamped in the mold with the model number “63” and incised with the shape number “2.”. We also see the painter’s number “42.” hand-painted in red. The figurine dates from the 20th century.
