This is a beautiful spherical vase in the Art Nouveau style and made by modern Czech Republic Bohemian glass blowers who tried to imitate the Loetz glass. The pot-bellied vase with spreading foot and evaded col is made of colorless glass, inlaid with various red and yellow color powders and inlaid with a bluish geometric decor with bluish glass bands. It has a slight degree of iridiscence. At the bottom we see a moderately polished pontille and a hand-engraved signature of “Vgu J 9.9”, unknown to me.
