Presented is a beautiful Chinese porcelain round flat plate. It is hand decorated with a famille rose decor in the center with rock work, lotus flower and peony and a house. The plateau is bordered on the elevation with a frieze of gilded French skewers. These point towards the edge which is an early feature. The border is embossed with flowers and foliage in bianco sopra bianco (white enamel on white covering). The edge is edged with a double concentric gold-plated line. The lip is painted brown. The latter is a characteristic of Kanton export porcelain. The bottom is glazed except for the base ring. The sign is not marked.

Condition: two chips on the lip, hairline in the flat but almost invisible. It remains an exceptionally very beautiful decorative plate.
