This beautiful vase was designed by René Lalique in 1924 and made in the glass factory in Wingen-Sur-Moder in France in the full Art Deco period. It is a round vase blown in the moulle in clear glass with gray frosted overlay and is called “Formose”. Fish, partly in clear glass, and in relief, with bulging eye, opalescent scales and fins with fluttering tails swim in swirling water. Low round clear edge and slightly raised small round base with concave bottom. The base is polished smooth. The vase is marked at the bottom on the base with “R. LALIQUE” embossed in the mould. This vase dates from around 1924.

Condition: perfect.
