A putto with bare legs and a pink overcoat stands on an irregular, slightly raised, bright white base with gilded outline. The head is turned to the right on which is a black tricorn with blue bow. In his right hand he holds an open tobacco box. At the back rises a tree trunk against which the putto leans. At the bottom the figurine is marked in underglaze cobalt blue with the crossed swords, the model number “38” pressed into the mold and the engraved model number “25”. We also see the hand-painted painter’s number “42.” in red. The figurine can be dated to the early 20th century.
