Shown is a porcelain milk jug or water jug. It dates back to the Empire period with a typical high reaching handle with a dragon head. It has a wavy edge and a round corpus that tapers downwards and stands on a round base. Scattered gilded accents. The corpus is hand-painted on one side with a polychrome landscape decoration of an Italian-looking building complex. It is lined all around with a gilded band. The jug is not marked but can be French or Bohemian in origin. It can be dated around 1830.

Condition: hair extension bottom, otherwise perfect condition
