Presented is a practical decorative farmhouse furniture that may have its origins in Holland or Germany. I think it was made towards the end of the 19th century. This cabinet is made of dark oak and has a rectangular cube-shaped corpus and has a wooden stepped raised top and it stands on bracked feet. At the top there are two open mesh doors that close with a simple wooden rotary knob and each have two copper hinges. On the median side they both have a rosette-shaped copper attachment with a simple open round towbar. Underneath, with transverse rail, there are three rows of two rectangular sliders each, which have the same type of handle as described above. At the bottom, the box is trimmed with a curved apron. The sides are simple with a central cut-out rectangular panel. It is a simple yet functional piece of furniture.
Condition: very good.
