Set of three similar octagonal round plates, two smaller and one larger, in Chinese hard porcelain from the end of the Chien Lung period. Chine de Commande with a hand-painted polychrome floral decoration in a famille rose palette above the cover. Light bluish white covering. In the center of the plateau we see a large peony with surrounding green foliage and smaller flowers. The elevation is painted all around with a purple, pink or brown chain motif. The border shows a wavy light purple to dark brown band all around with a star motif on the inside and an alternating flower and fruit motif on the outside, both of which are connected by a linear purple line all around. The lip is gold plated. Unglazed base ring at the bottom, not marked.

Condition: moderate. Still several small chips on the lip, gold and edge painting here and there somewhat worn, spots and black dots in the glaze. They remain decorative.
