Meer informatie

The object shown is a large round outlined flat plate. The tin glaze has a creamy-white aspect and is hand-painted polychrome overglaze. In the center we see a finely elaborated decoration of a large flower bouquet with green leaves and the stems of which are bound together by a large bow with spiral shoots. The increase has largely been left blank. The same type of fruit (?) Has been painted three times on the edge. The rim has a faintly radially directed elevation at each indentation. The lip is painted in burgundy color. Fully glazed on the underside. We see remnants of must. Old iron hanging system still present.

Condition: a few superficial spots on the tin glaze and a scratch on the surface. and some black dots in the glaze. But otherwise a very beautifully painted plate.
