We present an antique original large rectangular mirror from the Louis XVI period, France. Very richly sculpted on a rectangular thick oak frame that is completely heavily gilded. Typical imposed neoclassical motifs such as square blocks with rosettes, laurel leaves, pearl rim and frieze of S-shaped motifs. At the top large decorative element with a central round circle in which a full plastic rose, surrounded by laurel leaves and at the top a large typical Louis XVI bow motif. The glass may be original and shows signs of age as expected. From the Louis XVI period around 1780.

Condition: minimal injuries to the woodwork and wear, the glass shows signs of age, otherwise very good condition.
