Meer informatie

This is a fantastic iconic design from the period of the Vienna Secession and the Wiener Wiener Werkstätte, executed by Koloman Moser for Loetz glass in 1898. This lemonade or water jug is made of “frosted ice” glass. For the period this is a groundbreaking work in a modernist utensil that is also beautiful at the same time. It was mouth blown into the mold with a crackled final phase. This pitcher has a hollow handle and is easy to hold. Clearly blown into the mold mouth in two parts. Nicely crackled cylindrical bottom and top rejuvenating corpus on a round flat base. V-shaped pouring spout. Rounded edges. Nicely polished pontille at the bottom, not marked. Loetz Wittwe glass.

Perfect condition.
