We present an antique original large rectangular mirror from the Louis XVI period, France. Very richly sculpted on a rectangular thick oak frame that is fully gilded. Typical imposed neoclassical motifs such as square cubes with rosettes, bay leaves, pearl edging and frieze with S-shaped motifs. At the top a large decorative element with a central round circle in which a full plastic rose, surrounded by bay leaves and at the top a large typical Louis XVI bow motif. The glass may be original and, as expected, shows signs of age.

Condition: minimal damage to the woodwork and dorure, the glass shows signs of age, otherwise in very good condition.
