Presented is a nice round domed inkwell with lid. On colorless glass inlaid with various color powders on a light green background, iridescent to blue, purple, green, bronze color,… Lay on diffusely scattered colored granules. It concerns the so-called Phänomen genre P 377 Crète. The inkwell is slightly transparent. Round domed lid mounted on a brass fitting with lock that closes well and can be opened. Bottom not smooth granular but polished base. The object is not marked. Very beautiful ornamental object. Loetz, 1900.

Condition: copper inside green oxidized, otherwise perfect condition. Working lock.
